Video Wall · October 28, 2026
More screens. More possibilities.
A dedicated multi-display project for flexible viewing, with room to experiment.
Build in progress
The idea
The video wall is a project for running content across multiple displays. It gets its own computer, so playback can stand on its own while the rest of the home systems do their jobs.
The starting hardware
The workstation selected for the build is a Dell Precision 5820 with a Xeon W-2135, 32 GB of RAM, a 1 TB SSD, and a Quadro P2000. It is the starting point for the display build; the final screen layout and graphics configuration are still being worked out.
Independent first
The video-wall computer handles the displays and playback. Tower keeps its storage and server role, while Morrow handles AI and automation. Later, Morrow could help select content or coordinate playback without becoming a requirement for using the wall.
What comes next
Set up the workstation, test the display connections and playback software, and document the layout that works. Photos and build notes will follow as the hardware comes together.
