The keeper of the files.
The home server behind storage, archives, backups, and supporting services.
In use · ongoing maintenance
A different kind of project
Tower is my Unraid home server. Its job is to keep files and run supporting services: shared storage, family archives, backups, and applications that need an always-on home.
Keeping the roles clear
Tower handles storage and server responsibilities. Morrow focuses on AI, knowledge, and automation, while the video wall gets its own workstation. Separating those roles makes it easier to develop one project without tying every other project to it.
Preserving the old web
Recovering the family websites has also meant deciding what should stay online and what belongs in a private archive. Tower is part of that preservation work, keeping historical material beyond the public website.
Watching the public sites
Tower also runs independent monitoring for the hosted sites and backup freshness. Those checks are one part of ongoing maintenance; they are not a guarantee that every problem has been ruled out.
What comes next
Continue improving the backup and recovery documentation, keep maintenance records, and add a public overview of the setup as it evolves.
