A home for intelligence.
My local-first AI, knowledge, and automation project.
Active development
What is Morrow?
Morrow stands for Modular Orchestrator for Reasoning, Recall, Observation & Work. The goal is a personal system that can connect useful knowledge with tools and home services, while keeping track of context between tasks.
More than one model
The architecture separates the models from the system around them. Memory, device connections, permissions, and task state belong to Morrow rather than to one particular model. Local AI and external services can each have a role.
How it fits at home
The Mac mini supports Home Assistant, Music Assistant, device integrations, and the home dashboard. The larger architecture separates heavier AI work from those everyday services. Tower provides storage and backups; the video wall has its own playback computer.
| System | Its role |
|---|---|
| Morrow | Local AI, knowledge, and tool coordination; an evolving system. |
| Mac mini | Home Assistant, Music Assistant, device integrations, and the home dashboard. |
| Tower | Shared storage, archives, backups, and supporting services. |
| Video-wall PC | Dedicated display and playback work, independent of Morrow. |
This describes the division of responsibilities. It does not imply every planned Morrow capability is complete.
Working pieces and future work
The home automation and dashboard services are already in use. Morrow itself remains an evolving project: knowledge retrieval, voice, and tool coordination are areas of development, rather than a claim that a finished autonomous assistant is in place.
What comes next
Keep documenting useful capabilities with concrete examples, distinguish experiments from everyday services, and build out the knowledge and automation pieces one step at a time.
